Sending Mixed Signals

BeliefsHeal491 300x225 Sending Mixed SignalsDo you ever wonder if you’re sending your body mixed signals? I’ve worked with several clients who’ve had many allergies, sensitivities, ailments, and even cancer. One similarity that comes up frequently is possible mixed signals the body has received over the years. We live our lives, listening to people in authority tell us what is best for us. We make daily decisions for what we consider is in our best interest. That’s a never ending job. Making decisions that we believe to be in the best interest for ourselves and our family.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m not trying to lay the blame on anyone. However,  time and time again I’m involved in a session where the clients body interprets certain life events as harmful to it. The body believes the client is intentionally hurting it. Sound strange? Maybe not so much.

Here’s some examples:

  • Going through surgery. The body is given anesthesia and the conscious body may have pain and other sensations blocked, however the subconscious may be fully experiencing the surgery.
  • Taking a pharmaceutical. You may feel a pharmaceutical or over the counter med being beneficial, however your subconscious or energetic body might experience a mild or severe reaction.
  • Going to the chiropractor and having an adjustment. You make an appointment to bring your body into harmony, however you end up with minor pain and possible inflammation due to bringing your spine in alignment.

Can you see how your body might receive conflicting signals. How your body my interpret what you are doing is harmful to it.

One of my favorite TAT, Tapas Acupressure Technique®, sessions is working on every surgery, doctor visit, dentist visit, pill, etc. Anything done out of love and concern, that was perceived as causing us harm.  It’s really fun and interesting and tends to make a big difference in the health of my clients.

What have you done over your lifetime that could convey mixed signals to your body. Again, it doesn’t have to be something terrible or really negative, it’s any situation where the body might simply perceive incorrect information.

I hope I’ve given you some food for thought. The cool thing about TAT, is you don’t have to necessarily know the specifics. Just making the intention to work on all of this can create peace and harmony within the body. The body can relax, feel safe, feel like you are no longer attacking it. Your body begins to believe that it can fully and completely trust in everything you do.
