Lavenders Many Uses

YLEOLavenderN 300x300 Lavenders Many UsesHave you ever experienced a burn. Really, who hasn’t. Last night I was cooking and had turned a pot of boiling water up too high. The pasta was already in the pot, I had turned the temperature down, and was trying to stir the pot when the water bubbled up and landed on my arms. Just when I grabbed my arm, the other arm got hit. In the past, I would have put some ice on it. Usually, I still got a blister.

Today, I put lavender essential oil on it. Within minutes the burning stopped. Hours later, I don’t even notice the area that was burned.

Lavender is great for more than just burns. I use it on my face daily instead of costly moisturizers that never really did the job for me. Lavender doesn’t just moisturize my skin, it helps to balance my skin. I no longer have that oily T-zone area because it helps combat excess sebum on the skin.

Lavender is an antiseptic, antifungal, analgesic, antitumoral, vasodialating, anti-inflammatory, and a relaxant.  It’s many uses include respiratory infections, PMS, skin conditions, scarring, stretch marks, insomnia, and nervous tension.

I wouldn’t be without my Young Living Lavender. It’s one of my favorite and most used oils. It’s just great to have on hand for those little mishaps in life.

Blessings to you
